Our "Elements of Healing: Desert to Ocean" retreat, with award-winning musician and sound practioner Sherry Finzer, and pianist Michael Martinez, is a three-day immersive journey designed to blend gentle yoga, sound healing, and guided meditation, all set against a backdrop of elemental harmony.

The retreat is crafted to offer a tranquil, nurturing space where participants can release stress and find deep relaxation. With the soothing resonance of sound baths and the grounding practice of yoga, the intent is to create a sanctuary where the elements of earth, air, and water come together to support healing and renewal.

Participants can expect to leave feeling rejuvenated and balanced, with reduced stress and a refreshed spirit. The combination of sound healing and meditative practices helps to calm the mind, while the outdoor experiences provide a deeper connection to nature.

One of the highlights is a guided hike where Sherry will play the Native American flute and Michael will accompany on the handpan, creating a live, natural soundscape under the open sky. Additionally, each participant receives a personalized sound piece created and recorded by Michael and Sherry, professionally mixed and mastered. Additionally, there is an optional add-on to purchase and learn how to play the Native American flute.

Sherry Finzer is a visionary musician dedicated to exploring the healing power of music. Drawing on her diverse background across various styles and genres, she has developed a unique focus on calming, soothing, and meditative compositions designed to promote healing and overall well-being. Her music has been embraced by fans and listeners for its ability to reduce stress, encourage relaxation, and provide solace during challenges such as grief, depression, tinnitus, stroke, and cancer.

In 2024, Sherry achieved her Level II Group Sound Healing Certification from the prestigious Sound Healing Academy in the UK. With over 300 hours of training and nearly five years of live-streaming experience, she now provides individual, group, and corporate sound healing sessions via her company Desert Heart Sound Healing throughout Arizona, both in-person and online via Zoom. She has recently become certified as a trauma-informed life coach through the Arizona Trauma Institute and incorporates this training into her sound healing sessions.

Sherry has recorded over 450 tracks, available on all streaming platforms, and was a featured artist on the GRAMMY-nominated album The Passenger by Cheryl Engelhardt in 2022.

Michael Martinez is an internationally recognized pianist and composer whose evocative "New Age-Classical" style captures the cinematic beauty of the California coast. Renowned as the "Grand Piano Man" of the Big Sur International Marathon, Martinez has spent over two decades inspiring audiences from the rugged cliffs of Bixby Bridge to the prestigious stages of Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. His music—described as heartfelt and reflective—serves as a bridge between the legacy of his mentor, Jonathon Lee, and a modern, soul-stirring sound that has earned him three Global Music Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award from Enlightened Piano.

Building on the success of his chart-topping albums Asilomar and Closer, Martinez continues to push artistic boundaries in 2026 with his latest collaborative release, New Beginnings. Whether performing solo or alongside world-class flutist Sherry Finzer, his compositions offer a serene, transformative listening experience that resonates globally.
